FuelHop is a Chrome extension and web app that helps users find the cheapest petrol and diesel prices at nearby fuel stations in Great Britain. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data FuelHop accesses, how it is used, and what is stored.
FuelHop requests access to your device's GPS location solely to find fuel stations near you. Your location is used in real time to calculate distances to nearby stations. It is never transmitted to our servers, never shared with third parties, and never stored beyond your current session.
If you choose to search manually, the text you enter is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding service to resolve a map coordinate. No personally identifiable information is attached to this request.
Prices are fetched directly from publicly available UK Government CMA open data feeds published by fuel retailers. FuelHop does not collect, store or transmit any personal data in connection with these requests.
